Visting LifePointe was, and continues to be, a life changing experience; not only for me, but for my family as well!

I grew up being very active in the church community. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the young age of 4. After my senior year of high school, I experienced an event that made me lose trust and faith in the church.

This event caused me to walk away from the church and fellowship; my trust and security within the church shattered. My faith and trust in God never left, I just lost the sense of community and fellowship.

I discovered LifePointe when I noticed the advertising for Family Fun Fest on Facebook one day. I went to the website and started looking around and discovered that the Sunday morning messages were available online. I started watching and the first message was Pastor Drew talking about the Church. It was something along the lines of if you have ever been hurt by the Church, who the Church is, what the Church does, etc. I was in tears realizing how I had let the hurt and fear control my life for all these years. My kids had never been to church to have community and grow in God with other people. We believed in God as a family and were raising them with Christian values we were just isolated and alone. God was calling me back to fellowship!

I kept listening to services week after week for almost a year and finally told my husband we ARE going to church this Sunday. It was a huge leap, but we are ever so glad we did! LifePointe and the community of friends we have there is just what our family was needing in our lives!

I encourage you, if you have been hurt by a church, to trust God and listen to His voice. He will never leave you and you are never too far gone, no matter how many years have gone by. We would love for you to visit and become part of our family here at LifePointe! Come give us a try and grow in God's word with us. We look forward to meeting you, no matter what path you have been on that has led you here!
